  • Greg Gillam compiles and collects eclectic texts for Bibliomix, an experiment in readers' theater featuring live readers and DJ in collaboration on stage. Heintz joins Joel Chmara, Mary Fons, and Katherine Zwick at voice talent. The event is the debut performance for Chicago's Focus interdiscplinary art venue, heir to activities formerly at the Spareroom. [voice]

  • Woman Made Gallery's reading series features Heintz with fellow poets Allison Joseph, Simone Muench, Kristy Odelius, Susana Lang on the theme of anthropomorphism. Nina Corwin curates and hosts. [performance poet]
  • Poetry Center of Chicago executive director Lisa Buscani joins Heintz for performance and conversation on poetry on Wordslingers, Michael Watson's fortnightly poetry radio show on WLUW-FM. [performance poet]
  • The Poetry Center of Chicago releases "Room at the Table," an audio CD anthology compiling readings featuring many nationally renowned poets. Yusef Komunyakaa and Mark Perlberg, both contributors to the disc, perform. Heintz edited and engineered the disc for the Poetry Center, under the direction of Lisa Buscani. [audio engineer]

  • Heintz is once again a featured poet in the annual Pride Reading held at Women & Children First Books, curated by Gregg Shapiro. Host and store manager Ann Christopherson introduces the evening by reading Heintz's write-up of the 2000 reading from the Book of Voices. [poet]
